What will my kid be doing as part of the Theatre Program?
A typical year for a first year Theatre major typically includes three performances
scenes in October,
a holiday show in December, and
scenes in the Spring
In the classroom they work on a variety of skills and community building. They usually get the chance to attend a field trip like the Renaissance Fair.
Some kids audition for the musical, which is outside of school time and open to all kids at Lamar who want to audition to perform or be part of the tech crew.

Come to our monthly booster meetings - the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm in the Theatre room at Lamar and join us for food and drinks after at La Mancha.
Volunteer for a board position or sign up to volunteer for individual events.

Musical auditions are open to all students at the school, not limited to theatre or choir student.
